Privacy notice for medshr.com
Last updated 29 October 2026
This notice explains how MedShr Ltd collects and uses personal data when you visit this website, medshr.com, which describes our medical education programmes and partnerships. If you use the MedShr app or medshr.net as a member, the MedShr privacy notice applies to that use instead.
Who we are
MedShr Ltd (a company registered in England and Wales, number 08928248) is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Our data protection officer is Jude Venn. You can contact them at info@medshr.net or by post at 95 Archel Road, London, W14 9QL, United Kingdom.
The data we collect
Information you give us. If you email us or book a call with our team, we receive your name, email address and anything else you choose to tell us. We use this to reply to you and to discuss working together. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and developing our business.
Strictly necessary storage. We store your cookie choices in your browser so we don't have to ask you on every page. This does not need consent.
Analytics (only with your consent). We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It records the pages you visit, how you arrived (for example, the referring website), your approximate location, device and browser type, and an identifier stored in a cookie (_ga, _ga_*). Google LLC provides this service. Our legal basis is your consent.
Website visitor identification (only with your consent). We use Gojiberry, a service provided by Superfruits SAS (Paris, France), to identify the organisations and business professionals who visit our website so our partnerships team can follow up with relevant information about our medical education programmes. When this is switched on, Gojiberry collects:
- your IP address, browser and device information, and identifiers stored in cookies and browser storage (names beginning
gojiberry_orradar_); - the pages you view, how you arrived, and how you interact with them (such as scrolling and clicks);
- details you enter into forms on this site, such as your name, email address, phone number, job title and company;
- advertising identifiers already set in your browser by Meta (
_fbp,_fbc), where present.
Gojiberry may match this information against public business information, such as company details and professional profiles (for example on LinkedIn), to tell us which company, and sometimes which person, visited. We may then contact you about our services by email or LinkedIn. Our legal basis for this tracking is your consent. You can opt out of any follow-up contact at any time by replying to us or emailing info@medshr.net.
Embedded videos. Some pages include YouTube videos. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video is loaded from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google receives your IP address and device information and may store data in your browser in order to play the video. See Google's privacy policy.
Your cookie choices
Analytics and visitor identification are off until you choose to switch them on. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking Cookie settings, which also appears at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent stops further tracking and removes the related cookies from your browser. It does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew.
Who we share data with
We share personal data with service providers that act on our behalf, including Google (analytics), Gojiberry (website visitor identification) and our email and calendar providers. They may only use it to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the European Union and the United States. Where data is transferred to a country without UK adequacy regulations, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Website visitor identification data is kept for up to 12 months after your last visit. Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and then for up to 6 years.
Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@medshr.net.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns first, so please contact us before going to the ICO.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
